Can you make the Gangnam Style AI video with one photo?
Yes. One clear photo of you is all the generator needs. You take the middle spot, which is in the opening group shot and gets two close-ups, and two of our dancers fill the left and right. With one group photo, all three spots can be your people.

What one photo gets you
The trio has three spots, and the middle one is the lead. It is yours whenever you add a photo. In the 15-second video you are:
- in the group shot at the start, squeezed in with the other two;
- the first close-up, from 2 to 5 seconds;
- the last close-up, waving at the lens from 12 to 15 seconds.
The right and left spots go to our two dancers, the same two friends you see in the example video on the home page. They have their own close-ups in between, so the video plays exactly like the original trend.
Two photos, three photos or a group photo
- Two photos: you in the middle, your friend on one side and one of our dancers on the other.
- Three photos: all three spots are your people. No dancers.
- One group photo: upload a selfie with up to three people and each one lands in the spot they stand in, left to right. Swap places with one tap. If there are more than three people in it, you pick who goes in.
Can one photo play all three people?
Not yet. We tested one photo copied into every spot, and the left close-up kept turning into a different person. We won't sell a video we know drifts, so for now the empty spots go to our dancers.
Which photo to use
You get two close-ups, so your face matters more than the background. Pick a photo facing the camera, from the chest up, in even light, without sunglasses, a mask or a heavy filter. A normal phone selfie is ideal. When your face is small in the photo we crop in on it automatically, so a photo from further away works as long as your face is sharp.
One photo: questions
Do I need three photos for the Gangnam Style AI trend?
No. One photo of you is enough. You take the middle spot and both of its close-ups, and two of our dancers fill the left and right.
Can I be all three people from one selfie?
Not yet. In our tests the left close-up turned into someone else, so empty spots go to our dancers instead.
Who are the other two people?
Two dancers from our example video, made from AI test photos. They aren't real people you'd know, and they're the same in every video.
One photo in, a free preview of you in the middle in about 5 minutes.
